How we work

EVERY TIME YOU WORK WITH INTERBRIAN, WE’LL FOLLOW THIS STANDARD WORKFLOW:

REQUEST

When you send your first translation request to Interbrian, we’ll assign you a project manager. They’ll remain with you for the duration of the project. And when you return to us, they’ll work with you again. This means they’ll get to know your business and translation needs inside out.

Your project manager will be on hand to answer any questions you have. They’ll keep you updated during the process and answer any questions after delivery.

EVALUATION

The project manager will look at your text and what you want to achieve with the translation. They’ll select the linguist with the right background and expertise for the job. Then they’ll send you a quote and timeframe for the project.

When you return with new projects, we’ll always try to work with the same linguists.

PREPARATION

Before we get to work on your translation, we’ll check and prepare your files. We’ll make sure all text is visible and images, drawings, or codes are translatable.

The project manager will prepare the right tools for the job. This will include translation memories, glossaries, and client-specific instructions. This will ensure your translation is consistent and of a professional standard.

TRANSLATION

Once you confirm you want to go ahead with the project, we’ll send it to the translator with the right expertise for the job.

All our translators meet ISO 17100 standards. They all translate into their mother tongue and are experts in their field of specialisation.

REVISION

Once translated, a reviser will edit your text. They’ll make sure nothing has been missed or mistranslated. They’ll also check for consistency and the terminology, style, grammar, and spelling.Revision is an essential step required by ISO 17100 quality standards. This guarantees the translation you receive will be of the highest quality. If you wish, a third linguist can check your translation.

MULTILINGUAL TYPESETTING

You’ll receive your translated file in the same format and layout as your original file. This might mean replicating formatting for a Word file, or reproducing technical drawings in .dwg format.

By letting us take care of the typesetting, you’ll save time and money.

DELIVERY AND FEEDBACK

We’ll perform a final check. Once happy, we’ll send you your translation in the agreed format. Your project manager will get back in touch to check you’re fully satisfied and listen to your feedback.

We’ll update our translation memories and glossaries so they’re ready for the next time you work with us.
